1977 Maserati Khamsin Silver with a black interior 22,922 miles.
The Maserati Khamsin comes from the factory with a 4930 cc V-8 engine fitted with 4
weber carburators, some khamsins were automatics, this car is the more desirable
and rare 5 speed example. At the time of production Citroen owned Maserati and the
cars made in that time period were fitted with the hydraulically controled steering and
braking giving the car a super sensitve but very easy to get used to and use in the
real world handling and stopping power. Often times people who own this model
Maserati tend to keep them for many years (as this owner did)because they are such
a pleasure to drive and offer tremendous performance along with stunning sharp
looks. These are true super cars that represent a great value in the world of Italian
sports cars.
This car has had the same owner for 30 years. I am selling it on behalf of his estate.
The car has just been gone thru mechanically and it runs out very well, with the
headlights working properly along with braking system and steering. The car feels
great on the road. Cosmetically, the paint is in overal good presentable driving
condition with various flaws such has chips and there is an area of bubbling on the
lower passenger side area behind the rear wheel and then again on the lower corners
of the rear window. The interior is very nice with very good seats and nice carpets, the
dash is uniformly lightly faded as all dashes on cars from the 1970's covered in that
material fade over time but it still looks acceptable and nice.The car comes with an
original tool roll with some tools and a jack kit along with some reproduction manuals.

Carburetor rebuild kit(4 listed),Air filter,oil filter, cam cover gasket(4
listed),spark plug wires, spark plugs,distrubutor cap,, distributor
rotor,clutch pressure plate,clutch disk, clutch throw out bearing, front
shocks(2 listed @ $350), rear shocks ( all four rear shocks listed as being
replaced @ $1763.20),upper control arm bushing (4 listed), lower control
arm bushing(4 listed), control arm bushing(8 listed this is probably the
rear of the car), steering rack boot(2 listed), differential cover gasket,
belts, rear subframe bushings (8 listed),parking brake pads, pressure
accumulators, four new tires. Total parts replacement price is: 4,800.17
This is quite an extensive list of often not replaced but very critical items,
I have also spoken with a company that makes the European Bumper kit conversion
for both front and rear bumpers. They quoted me $3000
This is a very good example of one of the Maserati Companies true supercars.
